Precook meals and freeze them. OR at least have supplies in the cabinet for your favorites, so you can make them easily if you crave them. Ditto the sleep. Finally, accept the reality that you will never be prepared because every child is different and rest calmly. As long as she is loved and still breathing and growing, things will be just fine :) Love ya!

Goal for me... organize the photos on my computer and make myself delete at least a quarter of them (I have a problem with taking too many of one pose). I'm hoping to have this done by the holidays. Or until the space on my computer runs out (it's in the red).

Way to go Linnea! My favorite part about this post was telling us what books you used to fill your weight bag... it made it much more real to me! I like not having to use fancy pants equipment to work out.

There is definitely something to the whole muscle thing. I did a seriously horrible and crazy expensive boot camp (basically personal training with a superstar) for three months to get my baby weight off from Maelee. At first I couldn't believe the actual scale barely changed... but I lost like 10% body fat in weeks. So don't get discouraged if your actual weight number doesn't go down (or even goes up) as you build your muscle. It really is heavier than fat! Sadly, it also goes away too quickly if you don't maintain it...
