Well I ran .9 miles in 14 minutes and 39 seconds. I think that is a new record for slow. Then I ran splits back. I don't know what that means in the running world but I ran as fast as I could for one minute and then walked for 30 seconds. Repeat. At least I'm running? Or something... jogging at least. Hopping? Who knows.

Anyway, I read an interesting article in Runner's World yesterday about a man with pain that could only be helped by this doctor with a theory about how the brain will give you physical pain when you are worried/stressed about something else. I'm too lazy (or embarrassed to say tired from running) to get up and get the magazine and give you the details but I think the concept is timeless and worthy of attention. So today when I got done I had this pain in my hip and I prayed and I said go away you idiot I know I'm just stressed and it instantly disappeared. Hahah. Application is fun!

Weeeeeeeee.

Now on to the stress. Ugh.

Maybe I would rather have the pain in my hip.

Just kidding!
