Splat
So is this what you want,
Like a watermelon on a railroad track.
Like a fifth grade egg experiment.
Just for fun.
You take me and You break me:
Just for fun.
Where's the love?.
You made me then you hate me:
Where's the love?.
Pink insides splattered across the pavement.
I stain, I drip, I drop.
A thousand cells flying through the atmosphere,
Flippity, flip, flop.
This isn't what I want.
Yet, the human always sins,
And the blender always wins.
Just for fun.
Spinny, Spin, Spun.
Just for fun.
Why am I so dumb?
Where's your love?
Where's your love?
So this is what you want,
Like a watermelon on a railroad track.
Like a fifth grade egg experiment.

Hi! I'm not assuming this applies, but your words made me think of this...
ReplyDelete"1Pet 3:13 Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, 16 having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. 17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil."
