"I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant, their faces are never covered with shame."
Psalm 34:4-5
Imagine... Christians whose faces are NOT covered with shame... hmm...
Some thoughts:
Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.
-Mother Theresa
Am I a leader whether I like it or not? Do people need leaders? What is a leader? Was Jesus a leader or just the head follower? Why do we have leaders? Are they a human creation? Why?
Some additional thoughts:
"Nothing can satisfy the need but that which created it."
And in closing:
OUR FAITH WAS NEVER MEANT TO REST IN THE WISDOM OF MEN BUT THE POWER OF GOD
Thats in caps because I yelled it as I wrote. Maybe if I yell it loud enough then I'll arise, oh sleeper, from the deadly nap of pride and complacency.
I think you mean...
ReplyDeleteOUR FAITH WAS NEVER MEANT TO REST IN THE WISDOM OF MEN BUT IN THE POWER OF WOMEN.
Ha, couldn't help myself. I'm starting to write "Sister & Brothers" everywhere in my bible where I only see brothers. If I look at the footnote it says that this word in greek was used to say brothers and sisters. So whats up with all the hub-bub? Its like a word we don't have that says "siblings". The female half is left out for no reason at all. Grr.
I am on the second floor (which is really more like a third floor) of the Science Department with windows all around me. It is snowing heavily, and it makes me wish I could be out playing in the snow with you. Yes that would be swell...
